Radionics MMLC™ Linac interfaces are designed for use with the Radionics MMLC for both conformal and IMRT treatments. These modules provide hands-free fail-safe interfaces between the Linac and MMLC to ensure safe and efficient patient treatments.

VariLink™ connects the XKnife™ treatment planning software, the Varian™ LINAC, the Radionics MMLC, and a record & verify system.

VariLink™ connects seamlessly to the Varian control computer communication lines. This allows VariLink™ to "listen" to all system communications, including those of the record & verify system, without interfering with system function or safety. VariLink™ also ensures proper setting of the XKnife™ RT treatment plan, Radionics MMLC, and the LINAC before allowing the beam to activate.

Requirements:

• Varian C-Series or EX-Series LINAC with CSSI or EXCI Interface
• VARiS™ with RTP Exchange or IMPAC™ with RTP import
• Varian gating interface (optional)

PrimeLink™ connects the XKnife™ treatment planning software, the Siemens LINAC, the Radionics MMLC, and the LANTIS record & verify system (or IMPAC™ equivalent).

Requirements:

• Siemens digital LINAC with control software version 6.5/7.2 or greater
• Siemens PRIMEVIEW™ version 1.5 or greater (or IMPAC equivalent)
• Siemens SIMTEC™ with AFS support (or IMPAC equivalent)
• Siemens LANTIS™ with RTP Link (or IMPAC equivalent)

ELink™ connects the XKnife™ treatment planning software, Elekta Linac, Radionics MMLC, and R&V system.

Requirements:

• Elekta Synergy or Precise Linac using Elekta Desktop and iCOM-Vx
• An available iCOM-Vx TCP/IP connection
• An available External Terminate interface
• IMPAC or equivalent R&V system supporting RTP connectivity
