The XKnife™ RT system supports all conventional multi-leaf collimators, including the Radionics Mini-Multileaf Collimator, which affords precise control over the treatment area. Support for the Radionics GTC relocatable head ring, HNL™ head and neck localizer, and The Body System™, facilitates treatment of large brain tumors, as well as tumors in the head, neck, and body.

The XKnife™ RT conformal planning system allows rapid planning of shaped beams.

XKnife™ RT Autoshape instantly conforms the MLC leaves around the target at your specified margin. You can link and adjust beam margins while the dose is displayed in real-time, providing live dosimetric feedback.

Planning Target Volume Expansion Feature

The Planning Target Volume (PTV) expansion feature provides a systematic method of applying 3D margins based on exact volumetric expansion using ICRU 50's GTV, CTV, and PTV definitions.

Laser Angiographic Target Localizer

The Laser Angiographic Target Localizer (LATL) confirms beam geometries at the time of treatment by light field inspection on the LATL target sheets. This method offers excellent quality assurance and safety when delivering conformal radiotherapy treatments. Overlay sheets are also used for QA with Radionics HNL™ head and neck localizer and Radionics The Body System™ fractionated body treatments.
