8:00 AM: | CRW frame fitting |
8:30 AM: | CT scan; patient is taken to pre-op; images are transferred to NeuroPlan workstation |
9:50 AM: | Correlate the CT and MR images utilizing ImageFusion |
9:55 AM: | Verify ImageFusion results |
10:00 AM: | Develop optimal plan for target and trajectory utilizing StereoPlan Software |
10:20 AM: | Confirm target using AtlasPlan |
10:30 AM to 11:00 AM: | Patient set-up and preparation |
11:00 AM: | Insert cannula and recording electrode |
11:10 AM: | Initiate recording; confirm target |
12:00 PM: | Conclude recording |
Next Options - At this stage of the procedure, the patient will undergo either lesioning, or deep brain stimulator (DBS) implantation. The NeuroPlan System fully supports either treatment option.
