Precision Wired and Wireless Probes
— the latest advancements in instrument tracking
- OmniSight™ EXcel utilizes the latest hybrid tracking technology
— combining wired and wireless instruments for optimal system
performance
The new Y-configuration wireless probes track the rotation
and trajectory of the probe with greater ease and accuracy than
inline configuration probes
-
The redesigned wired standard probe increases tracking accuracy
and includes new features, such as an integrated mouse button
and proximity indicator

-
Auto-save 3D Pose — The 3D orientation,
zoom, and pan information are saved. Upon restart, the 3D pose
is restored.
-
Auto-save 2D Zoom — The 2D zoom level
for each of the loaded scans is saved. Upon restart, the zoom
levels are restored.

Enhanced Probe Alignment Aids
Enhanced alignment aids make it easier to align the probe with
a preplanned trajectory or trajectory of interest (TOI).
As you move the probe within 20 mm of a trajectory, the system
enters the enhanced probe mode and the following features activate:
- 3D View — Alignment rings are drawn
around the probe and the closest trajectory. When all the rings
are aligned, the probe is aligned with the closest trajectory.
- 2D Probe’s Eye View — Symbols
are drawn to represent the probe tip, target, and entry points.
When all symbols are aligned, the probe is aligned with the
closest trajectory.
- 2D Probe’s Eye View — Symbols
are drawn to represent the probe tip, target, and entry points.
When all symbols are aligned, the probe is aligned with the
closest trajectory.

- Plane of Probe Views — Allows for a reconstructed view through the body of the probe as seen looking from behind the probe. This feature allows for the rotation of the 2D and 3D images with the movement of the probe for enhanced orientation and visualization.
